When Nijah / New Faces Development began getting Stephanie Perry exposure from industry professionals, things really began to materialize for her. “This is something we thought about doing for a long time. Stephanie had been scouted before, but we were so skeptical that we never paid any attention. When we came here, we really thought this was the right place and time to go for it. Now, I regret that we didn't work with Nijah / New Faces Development sooner,” said Stephanie's father. “First, a catalog, then a toy box. What's next? The possibilities seem endless!” Stephanie was scouted at Roosevelt Field Mall by Nijah / New Faces Development, and the scout spoke to her mother, who was ready to give it a chance. After they came in and took her photos, it was not a matter of 'if' for her, but 'when.' “I always loved being in front of a camera, so this seemed like the perfect job for me. Nijah / New Faces Development have given me so much. Even from the first photo shoot, I learned that it's okay to get a little nervous before I begin taking photographs, and then once the camera turns on, I forget the nervousness and light up. It's so much more than I thought it could be.” said Stephanie Perry. Stephanie can be seen in the last Toys R' Us Spring Catalog, and now the “Totally Me” Arts & Crafts toy box. It's almost fate, as the toy set is one the Stephanie can recall playing with. “We didn't know what to expect. I don't think you ever can, but I know that Nijah/New Faces have been working with us and it's thanks to them that it's my daughter on the cover of toy boxes all over the world.”
