A Fiery Talent

Boasting the most callbacks of any female her age at the 2008 International Modeling and Talent Association's (IMTA) convention, Tori Green is on fire.

As a triple-threat of singing, dancing and acting, Tori easily achieved the feat of “Most Sought After Female.” Ask Green how and the answer is simple: her talent was developed over time, primarily through Nijah / New Faces Development. Green was scouted in New York City when she was just thirteen.It is certainly to her advantage that Tori's father, Derek Green, is a fashion designer who has worked with Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs. But it was her singing that earned the attention of Atlantic Records. Tori knew that auditioning in front of hundreds of agents and managers wasn’t going to be easy, so she spent a great deal of time developing her skills to nail it. Using Nijah / New Faces Development’s network of industry professionals, Green developed a wide range of techniques and skills, even working on her personal style. Tori’s parents, a New York City model and a fashion designer dad committed to   the model and talent development process when Tori was scouted. They realized that Nijah / New Faces Development had access to a wide pool of talent professionals and a proven track record.After one year of development, Nijah / New Faces Development invited Green to attend the IMTA. Nijah/New Faces Development then helped place Green with the talent agency CESD. “I don’t think I would have had the opportunity to be placed with CESD without Nijah / New Faces Development,” says Green. “Through CESD, I have a commercial audition for Macy’s.” Even with three years of industry experience under her belt, Green continues her professional development and continues to audition and perform as a singer. “You have to impress a lot of people, and it can be really overwhelming, but it's also really fun. It’s a lot of work, but I love it,” said Green.
