There Are No Limits

At age twelve, Jazmin Luperena of Brooklyn, New York already has a mature understanding of her work as an actress. She loves theater, and thinks it's “fun to be on-set, having cameras watching you. I like being somebody else and exploring other people's lives.” She was scouted in a local theme park by a Nijah / New Faces Development scout, and landed a coveted role in a national Bank of America commercial.

Jazmin can also be seen on “Models vs. Actors,” a series on DishTV Network and “Camera Dreams,” playing the main character's sister. Jazmin is a busy actress now, but she's also a normal teen. She enjoys basketball, handball and writing poetry. She has performed some of that poetry at The Lafayette Grill.

Even though she has a lot of interests, “Nijah / New Faces Development brought out her personality. I see the difference in her,” said her mother. “The development perfected her acting. She's dedicated, but this has changed her for the better.”
